1. First, call your pharmacy to see if you have additional “refill” available for your prescription.
2. If you’re out of “refill”, you have several options:

• The best way is to email directly our refill coordinator at peachtree.refill@gmail.com. This takes typically 2-3 days to process.  
• If you need your refill urgently, call us 832-327-7700, our front desk will transmit the message to the coordinator. We cannot commit in the timing of process. 
• Last, you can also have pharmacy contact us.  This takes typically takes 5-7 days to process.

Acute Diseases

An acute disease is one that lasts a short time, comes on rapidly, and is accompanied by distinct symptoms.

• • • Infections: Cold, Pneumonia, STD
    • Injuries: Work, Auto, Sport. Please note we do NOT accept Work Compensation or PIP cases.

Image Diagnostics

• • • We provide in-office X-rays and Ultrasound to get a faster diagnostic. X-Rays help to detect acute fractures, CXR during physicals. Ultrasound exams provide critical information and are cheaper and safer than CT scan.
    • All images are read and verified by a certified radiologist within two days.

Allergy Treatments

• • • For your convenience, we offer in-office allergy tests and treatments, at an affordable prices.
      We perform allergy blood tests and skin allergy tests.
    • If allergy medications do not relieve your symptoms adequately, we also give allergy shots.

Blood Testings

• We provide convenient, rapid and acute tests: Rapid Urine Analysis, Urine Pregnancy Test, Rapid Throat Strep test, Rapid Hemoglobin test, Rapid Sugar Test.
• A phlebotomist is available in-house to perform the blood drawing, quickly and precisely. Blood tests cover Complete Metabolic Panel, Diabetes, Cholesterol, Thyroid, STD, Immune Titers, and much more.

Minor Procedures

Minor procedures vary from case to case. Here are examples of what we perform frequently.

Physical/Wellness Check-Ups

    • Our female providers also perform Well Woman Exam, including Pap Smears.

Vaccinations

• • • We vaccinate children as requested by the State of Texas and adults (Tetanus, HPV, Hep A and B, Meningitis shots for college entrance). 
    • Starting in every September, Flu shots are available in different options.

1. Please try to select a specialist from the list we provided or from your insurance’s provider directory.
2. Call provider to confirm that they take your insurance since insurance directories are not always updated.
3. Email peachtree.referral@gmail.com to let us know who or where you want to go and our referral coordinator will complete the process.

We accept walk-in patients because sickness happen without notice.
At Peachtree Medical, we understand sickness cannot be planned in advance.  If you are very sick and our schedule is fully booked, you can still come to the clinic, and we will do our best to fit you in. However, we limit walk-ins after 4pm every day, and it gets stricter on our shorter Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The wait time for a walk-in varies from 15-50 minutes, depending on the day schedule and the number of walk-ins ahead of you.

Appointments give you priority in our schedule and you will be seen faster. Sometimes same day appointments are available, so do not hesitate to call!

Because every patient is different, we cannot fit everyone in a set time slot and even with an appointment, you may have some wait time. With our advanced practitioners, it may be 30-40 minutes, for Dr Le it may be longer 45 mn-1 hour.

Our phone system may be saturated at some hours. Best time to call us is between 9:30 am and 4:30 pm. If you still cannot reach us, please leave a message or email us at peachtree.medical.clinic@gmail.com.
